Michael S. Finley is the founder, owner, and president of Professional Community Management, Inc. He is a United States Naval Academy graduate who served his country for over 30 years on both active duty and later as a reservist. Mike applies the same dedication, organizational skills, and integrity that were part of his military life to running a successful community association management business.
Mike started ProCom in 1991 because, as a member of his own community’s board of directors, he could not find a management company that provided the level of service that his community needed. As such, he understands the importance of the owner being involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Mike is in the office daily, he is constantly monitoring all of our clients’ financials, and he is kept abreast of all major association matters at all times.
Mike believes that through training and continuing education, his managers and staff will be better able to help our Boards meet their goals. In that vein, he requires that all managers continually work towards the Community Association Institute’s (“CAI”) accreditations of Certified Manager of Community Association (“CMCA”), Association Management Specialist (“AMS”) and Professional Community Association Manager (“PCAM”). In addition, his supervisors hold weekly office-wide training sessions so that his managers and staff are always following industry best practices, and stay current on many topics from changes in the laws to the latest property maintenance techniques.
